Overview
The Astell&Kern HB1 is a portable Bluetooth DAC and headphone amplifier using an ESS ES9281AC PRO DAC with a separate amplifier stage. It supports LDAC and aptX HD for high-quality wireless playback.
The unit provides 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm outputs, USB DAC operation and multipoint connection to two devices. UAC 1.0 support accommodates compatible gaming systems, and interchangeable USB-C and Lightning cables are listed in the package.
