Overview
The Chord DAVE is a digital-to-analogue converter, digital preamplifier and headphone amplifier. Its conversion architecture uses a Spartan 6 FPGA with proprietary processing and a 164,000-tap filter.
Lossless digital volume control allows connection to a compatible power amplifier. The LCD displays input, sample frequency, volume and setup options, with operation through the rotary control, front-panel buttons or supplied remote.
