Overview
The Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 3 converts USB digital audio from a compatible computer, tablet or phone to outputs used by external digital audio equipment. Optical, coaxial, AES and IIS-LVDS output options support different DAC connections.
The unit supports PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512 through supported connections. Its IIS-LVDS output is isolated from USB ground, and switches on the chassis offer several IIS-LVDS pinout and clock modes. USB bus power or an external power supply can be used.
